Located at S Maison in Conrad Manila at the Mall of Asia complex, Lakbay Museo exhibits a village that will let you have a glimpse of each region through the celebration of its well-known festivities, learn through the wide-set diorama of regional livelihood and local products and even let you feast your eyes on more than 600 dishes from 13 famous regional cuisines.
Lakbay Museo holds 11 astounding interactive landmark destinations perfect for that IG-worthy photo. No filters needed as you try to pay homage and learn about the Philippine culture through our local clothing and textile. Experience going back in time to see how Maria Clara’s Instagram feed would’ve looked during the Spanish colonization, or how McArthur would’ve updated his IG stories once he returned. Snap those photos and capture the essence of learning history the millennial way!
Lakbay Museo not only aspires to encourage Filipinos to cultivate our heritage and traditions but is also built on the foundation of environment conservation. Nearly all of the exhibits were constructed using 4,560 old and used rubber slippers and scrapped materials, 328 old rubber tires, 453 old car mats, and a variety of recyclable materials. The museum also provides job opportunities to out of school youths, non-professionals, local artists, disabled persons, and senior citizens. In partnership with the DTI OTOP this Philippine millennial museum concept is providing 189 micro, small and medium scale enterprise in the country gain market access for their products.
